• Not uncommon in cats
• Magnesium Ammonium Phosphate stones (Struvite) are the most common type in cats

SIGNS

• blood in the urine
• increased frequency urination
• possibly straining to urinate

EXAMINATION

• blood in urine
• evidence of uroliths on ultrasound or xray

Always have fresh water down

Overweight cats may predisposed to this condition
